1. Waste Shredding and Size Reduction Machines
The most critical stage in ATY production is homogenizing heterogeneous waste materials of varying sizes. Shredders offered with the assurance of MT Makina operate at high capacity even under challenging conditions.
Pre-Shredders: These are high-torque, low-speed, double or single-shaft shredders that perform the initial coarse crushing of bulky industrial waste, large household waste, and materials such as tires.
Secondary Shredders/Granulators: These are high-speed machines that reduce pre-crushed waste to specific waste fiber sizes (e.g., <30mm or <50mm) required by cement factories or incineration plants.
Hammer Mills: These are used especially for crushing brittle waste materials to the desired size.
2. Screening and Size Sorting Equipment
Separating shredded waste according to size directly affects the quality (calorific value) of the waste oil.
Trommel Screens (Rotary Drum Screens): These screens remove organic materials, sand, glass, and extremely fine particles (undersize) from the waste.
Disc Screens (Star Screens): Extremely effective at separating two-dimensional (paper, nylon) and three-dimensional (bottles, cans) materials and increasing capacity.
Vibrating Screens (Vibrating Sieves): Used for precise sizing of materials and separating materials that are stuck together.
3. Advanced Separation and Enrichment Systems
To obtain a high-quality RDF/SRF (Residual Fresh Food/Residue), non-combustible (inorganic), heavy, and hazardous materials must be removed from the waste.
Magnetic Separators (Overband Magnetic Separators): By capturing iron (Fe)-based metals (nails, wire, tin cans, etc.) in the waste stream, they both protect the blades of subsequent machines and generate recycling revenue.
Eddy Current Separators: These devices enable the separation of non-ferrous precious metals such as aluminum and copper from the ATY (Automatic Frequency Transmission) line.
Ballistic Separators: They perfectly separate materials into three categories based on their weight and geometric shape (flat/light, round/heavy, and thin materials).
Optical Separators (NIR Separators): Using infrared sensors, they remove different types of plastics (PET, PE, PVC, etc.) or materials with high chlorine content (e.g., PVC) from the line using air jets.
Wind Elevators / Zigzag Classifiers: Use airflow to separate materials into two fractions: light (paper, plastic film - potential ATY) and heavy (stone, glass, metal).
4. Transportation, Feeding and Storage Equipment
Selecting the right conveyor systems is vital for the uninterrupted and automated operation of the facility.
Belt conveyors are the main arteries of waste transfer within the facility (types include rubber, PVC, and sergeant belts).
Steel Chain Conveyors: Offer high durability, especially when feeding heavy and abrasive materials to pre-shredders.
Dosing Bunkers and Walking Floors: Used for storing incoming waste or produced final RDF (Real Estate Investment Trust) and feeding it into the system at a homogeneous/regular rate.
Screw conveyors: Preferred for transferring finer and dustier materials in closed systems.
